Christophe is a former General of the Green Order who ascended to the rank of Supreme Leader following the Second War against the Drunken Pirates. Rejecting the conversion of his peers to the Drunken way of life, he established an army of automatons in his own likeness, signaling a new era for the Green Order.
During the Second War, when the former leader of the Green Order chose to defect to the Drunken Pirates, Christophe refused to comply. Seizing command of the remaining forces, he engineered and deployed a mechanized army of machines, each bearing his own first name: Christophe. From that point forward, he has represented a rigid, technocratic, and authoritarian ideology (the absolute antithesis of the movement's original ecological principles). This technological shift, however, is restricted primarily to the military apparatus, while the civilian population remains deliberately uninformed in order to preserve administrative control.
Unbeknownst to his associates, Christophe suffers from dissociative identity disorder, harboring a secondary persona known as Monsieur D, an existence completely hidden from his inner circle.
Under the guise of Monsieur D, he becomes highly volatile and subject to uncontrollable eruptions of rage. His behavior is characterized by extreme unpredictability, including acts of physical violence (such as hurling nearby objects, specifically chairs) broad insults directed at his subordinates, and a complete loss of motor coordination. While these outbursts occasionally compromise his standing, no one within the Order has yet connected the respected Commander Christophe to the erratic Monsieur D.
Christophe remains the focal point of the Green Order's technocratic era. While his public persona projects absolute discipline, progress, and a desire for vengeance against the Drunken Pirates, his uncontrollable episodes as Monsieur D reveal a profound, latent instability that threatens to undermine his grandest ambitions.
